Surge protection is the process of shielding your electronic devices from transient voltage, or electrical power surges, that pass through the power strip.

  1. What is overload protection?

The power strip will automatically switch off when the charging devices plugged into it are drawing more power than the strip is rated to supply.

  1. How to select the right power strip?

When selecting a Power Strip, there are a few things you need to consider: charging functions, number of outlets, and length of cord.

Yes. Universal Series power strips are compatible for all countries.

Power strip with surge protection usually has a green “protected” indicator light.

  1. How can I reset the power strip?

Turn off and unplug all equipment that is connected to the power strip. Push the double-break switch to the other position.

A Joule is a measurement of energy; a higher number of Joules equates to a greater ability to absorb a surge.

If the protected light is out, the power strip is no longer functional. This means the power strip has absorbed its capacity and must be replaced.
